Ow, maybe I should add... In the description you say violence to the human form. My grandfather would've never violated the human form. He was a painter to with love for accuracy and detail, meticulous really... And still it reminds me much of him.
Some would say that a painting like this is more accurately depicting reality. The solidity of the human form is more a myth than truth as science has proved. This may capture the feeling of sensation, a body in constant flux. We are constantly seeing things from many perspectives at once, that is the nature of sensation.
